Ms. Carmelita Bartholomew’s passion for opera started at a very young age. She is a Soprano and sings in 6 different languages Italian, Spanish, French, German, Russian and Hindi. Because of her recent accomplishments, she was selected as a member of the prestigious Recording Academy / Grammy Music Awards. In addition, she has recently received the following awards and recognitions:

  • Global Music Awards – Bronze Medal for Best Classical Song and Artist “O Mio Babbino Caro”
  • Akadamia Music Awards – Best Classical Song “O Mio Babbino Caro” also Best Classical Song “Ave Maria”
  • Indie Music Channel Awards – 3 Time Nominated for Best New Classical Artist
  • ReverbNation – Number one for the Maryland District for Best New Classical Artist

She started performing with The Baltimore Opera Company / Lyric Opera House and The Washington National Opera / Kennedy Center as a supernumerary member in the year 2000. Performance in operas include the following:

Entertained numerous dignitaries including the Mayor of Baltimore, The Ambassador of Egypt and the President of the United States Barack Obama. Also, was featured as a special guest artist with singing sensation “Septimius the Great”. Together they have gained recognition for many of their songs and received several awards and nominations. She has been interviewed on television and radio shows such as The Coyote Man Show Fox 45, The Dann Glover Show and The Style Chronicle Season Finals. And has performed extensively throughout the United States in California, Virginia, Philadelphia, New York and Miami.
